About the Role
You’ll join the mobile engineering team to develop and implement features for a payments/cards module using React Native, focused on performance, code quality, reusability and cross-platform consistency (iOS & Android).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mobile features for the cards module using React Native, ensuring code quality, performance and reusability.

  • Collaborate with the Solutions Architect to define and apply scalable architecture patterns and mobile best practices.

  • Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs and corporate systems, ensuring efficient and secure mobile communication.

  • Continuously optimise app performance including bundle size reduction, startup time, memory usage, navigation and animations.

  • Ensure consistency and compatibility across iOS and Android platforms and devices.

  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop unit, integration and functional tests.

  • Stay current with evolving React Native ecosystem trends and propose technological improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Developer or Specialist focused on React Native.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Solid knowledge of React 18 features and New Architecture (Fabric/TurboModules).

  • Advanced experience with state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand/Jotai, React Query/TanStack or Context API.

  • Experience working with navigation libraries such as React Navigation 6+ or Expo Router.

  • Experience in mobile animations and interactions using React Native Reanimated and Gesture Handler.

  • Knowledge and use of architectural patterns such as Flux or Clean Architecture in mobile apps.

  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful and GraphQL backend APIs.

  • Familiarity with developer tools like VS Code, Xcode, Android Studio.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, EAS Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

  • University degree in a technology-related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Tamagui.

  • Experience with Firebase/Supabase, WebSocket or real-time communication.

  • Familiarity with debugging/monitoring tools (Flipper, Reactotron, Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Bugsnag).

  • Experience with Web3/Blockchain integrations, AI/ML on mobile or AR/VR in React Native.

  • Experience working in financial-sector mobile apps (especially with cards).

  • Contributions to open-source projects in the React Native ecosystem.
