About the Role
Tempo is seeking a Frontend / React Native Engineer to help build and scale their mobile and web applications. You will work across mobile and frontend stacks, ensuring top-tier performance and user experience.
Responsibilities
Develop mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
Build and maintain frontend web features that integrate with mobile apps.
Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Optimize codebase for performance, reliability and maintainability.
Write tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.
Requirements
Experience with React Native and mobile app development (iOS & Android).
Strong frontend skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js) and modern web development practices.
Familiarity with mobile performance optimization and cross-platform concerns.
Experience working in remote, distributed engineering teams.
Ability to take ownership of features from concept to deployment.
Nice to Have
Experience with backend services, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and native modules.
Strong interest or experience in user-centric design and mobile UX.
