Lead React Native Developer - Remote

We're seeking an experienced Lead React Native Developer to take full ownership of a mission-critical mobile application built with pure React Native (no Expo). This production app is actively used at scale and requires immediate refactoring and modernization while maintaining continuous operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end mobile app development, releases, and production monitoring for iOS and Android
• Refactor legacy codebase toward React Native best practices without disrupting live workflows
• Implement offline-first architecture with sync strategies and conflict resolution
• Build robust geolocation/GPS functionality with background updates and permissions handling
• Integrate native modules and optimize app performance at production scale

Required Experience:

• 5+ years mobile development, 3+ years React Native with production app ownership
• Pure React Native CLI experience (no Expo)
• Proven offline-first mobile app architecture and geolocation implementation
• TypeScript, modern React patterns, and cross-platform release management
• Strong debugging skills for complex React Native codebases
